It has dual wheel cylinders at each wheel. I have discovered that the original brake hoses, both front and rear, are 3/16 id. The new replacement hoses are all 1/8 id. The front hoses are also 1 1/2 inches shorter than the originals. Not having a degree in fluid transfer engineering, I am concerned that he reduced inner diameter may adversely affect braking. Could volume and or pressure changes due to a 1/16 inch reduction in diameter cause a problem?
Thanks, Rich.

Wheel cylinder or master cylinder diameter would though. I replaced all my lines and hoses, I used the same size steel lines but did not even think to look at ID on the rubber hoses. | | | | Joined: Jul 2016 Posts: 53 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2016 Posts: 53 | Yes, I am referring to the rubber hoses. The part numbers for the hoses are UP36548 for the front and UP4000 for the rear. Does your 6400 take the same?

As a side note, you can get replace UP with BH and that is the Raybestos part # if you want to order from Rock Auto or somewhere else instead of Napa but check prices at both places. Napa was cheaper on the front hoses I think.

To date, every hose I bought from them was a 100% exact fit replacement for whatever it was I had that was OEM. I have bought at least a half dozen sets of hoses from them for various types of antique, odd stuff. The seller's eBay ID is "luchonota".

Unfortunately, I already purchased all three hoses from a shop that makes them. That's what prompted my question about inner diameter differences. The owner convinced me that the smaller inside diameter hoses would be ok. With four 1 1/8 wheel cylinders at the front and four 1 1/2 wheel cylinders in the rear I have a concern the brake fluid may be restricted returning to the master after pedal release.
