Can anyone tell me exactly how to remove the gas tank in or under a 1937 truck? There is a good possibility mine has trash in it and it appears that the only way to clean out the tank is to remove it. If there are some other suggestions, I'm willing to listen.
Thank You!

Gas Tank Removal: * Close gas line shutoff valve on underside of tank. * Disconnect gas line from valve. * Drain gas from tank at valve.
* Remove valve from tank. * Remove both halves of seat bottom. * Disconnect gas gauge sending unit wire. * Note the two metal straps-one each,
7" from each end of the tank. * Remove the two nuts (underside of floor) on the Front ends of the two straps. * From inside the cab, pull the two straps
up into the cab to relieve the tank. * Now Best with Two People - Raise the tank from the front and roll it out.
