Is this normal? I have an old TH350 tranny with no play at all in the output shaft. I'm concerned the guy who built the 200-4R messed it up. Any thought on this loose output shaft?

| | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,280 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,280 | Are you checking output shaft play with the yoke installed? There is a bushing in the tailpiece which the yoke rides in. This arrangement tightens up the tailshaft movement.
