Question: the carburetor schematic shows a gasket that goes on top of the Insulator Plate, between the Carb (throttle body) and the insulator plate. Should there be a 2nd gasket that goes on the bottom of the insulator plate between the insulator plate and the Intake manifold? The Master Parts Manual refers only to a gasket between spacer and carburetor.
I always use a gasket between carburetor and insulator (with the cut-out properly oriented).
I have sometimes used a gasket between spacer and manifold (if the mating surfaces were not real smooth).
