I took it out of storage and put it on just last month, but it doesn't reach into the windshield corners on the cab. A local guy says the glass will stretch the rubber into the corners. Is he right? If it does stretch to fit, I'm not sure it will make a water-tight seal.
Is a new gasket the only fix or is my old one ok?

Put the hottest water you can in a bucket and roll that gasket up and stick it in for ten minutes or so and that sucker will be plyable and will install easier than you would ever believe.
Be careful not to tear it though, because it will be VERY soft.
