Hello fello B.Cers! I have what i believe to be is a 64 gmc 3/4 4wd the prob is tryin to match the vin#,the forums I've looked at are all American and don't make sense to mine can u help pls!!
Vin on inside of door jam halfway up....

If I had to guess it looks obvious that 4k9250 is 4wd 910 3/4 but I would like to be sure and not guess so any help would be appreciated

Hy Curtis65, welcome, I don't often get the chance to say this but your truck is too new and too small to fit into my area of expertise. I think your decoding of the serial is accurate
4, year, have to look at body style to confirm
K, GM code letter for four wheel drive
9, Canadian identification number for GMC truck
250, Canadian designation for a 3/4 ton truck
The balance of the number is the regular production number
B, is the weight class (GVW), with A being for a 1/2 ton, B for a 3/4 ton etc., hope that helps.

If it's a CDN 3/4 ton it would be a 920 series. a 910 is the 1/2 ton .i have a 1962 920 it's a 3/4 ton 8 lug wheels. Sounds like a great project ,I haven't seen too many 3/4 tons around of this era.
