| | | | | Joined: Oct 2016 Posts: 916 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2016 Posts: 916 | My engine (1959 261ci) originally had a PCV system on it, so my breather tube doesn't have a draft tube exit- it has a threaded fitting welded at the factory instead. I replaced the factory pipe that goes over the valve cover with what you see in the pics. I didn't want to have to disconnect it every time I took the valve cover off, and I like copper

I would highly recommend him! He was awesome! I shipped my axle to him, and he sent it back in less than a month and it looks great. He also upgraded king pins and all for me. Very reasonable!
Double check your scrub line prior to dropping it too low! Don't do what I did, I went too low.

Chris So I gotta ask ? how low did you go ? I"m thinking 3 to 3 1/2 drop ? scrub line ? what would be safe ? Hoping Sid will show me the way ? I all ready took some front leafs out , ( wanted low look fast ) but now I want to put all the leaves back in ,with drop axle ? I"ll take all the info I can get Thanks Your truck is sweet ,nice build

You can go lower with larger rims. I stayed with 15" wheels. Sid is easy to talk to - just give him a call.
