I have 4 hubcaps on my 1951 Chevy 1/2 ton. These hubcaps look like baby moons but have the large Chevy bowtie in the middle with a smaller Chevy bowtie inside of the large one. Originally, I think the large bowtie was painted blue. What year truck used this type hubcap. Thanks. :rolleyes:

tclederman, thats what I have. Mine need to be painted though. They are in excellent shape chrome and dent wise. Thanks for replying.

My caps only have the single bowtie on them, may be reproduction caps.

If you need paint that matches the Chevrolet blue in the hub cap go to your hobby shop and look at the "Testors" model paint. Their blue enamel paint is a good match.

thats a '54 hubcap. '54 and '55 first series only had those style hubcaps.
