I'm in the middle of sorting this out on my '50 truck...But I have a Chevy S-10 ZR-2 rear and with disc brakes with internal horseshoe parking brake, which requires a cable end with a rectangular hole to engage the brake lever on the axle.
Lokar has a "cut to fit" kit for our trucks (4ft of outer cable and 5ft of inner cable for each side), but it's listed at $150 and only has the cable ends for the stock rear axle. I found it at Speedway for $109, but you still need to buy the clevis adapters to fit your rear axle on top of that, and I think those are another $45 a pair (Chrome only).
Summit Racing lists just the front part of the kit (the threaded bolt/cable clamp to clamp onto any cut cable, for $14 each. You could simply take the correct cables for your rear axle and cut them to fit, then clamp these onto the front of them. See Here:
Wire union assemblies BUT, I called Lokar and they told me that the stock cables are very hard and that their clamp system doesn't work so well with them, because the Lokar cables are a "softer" wire that crushes better when clamped.
I think maybe I'm going to try sawing off a bolt head, then drill it out, then drill and tap the side for two hex screws to clamp the later year, correct cable for my new rear axle, which are only $20 a piece at my FLAPS. Or might try to cut a slot into the side of the bolt shank and MIG weld the cable into the bolt shank, or braze. Well see...
