I bought a rebuilt speedometer for my '42 1/2 ton from Jim Carter. Unfortunately a year had gone by before I actually installed it. My problem is the speedo needle does not sit on 0 it sits at about 20 mph. It seems to work ok under acceleration its just 20 mph over actual. I called Carter but their only answer is to swap and pay!!#$%#@ for another rebuilt as the one I have is out of warranty. Is there any way I can adjust this? I have a 235 with T5 and an S-10 reared if that matters.
