I have what I think is the correct nut. It takes a 5/8 wrench and is thinner than normal, more like a jam nut. Does that sound correct? And does it use a flat or lock washer? The reason I ask is that with the movement of the mechanism, it looks like it would work itself loose. Anyway, thought I'd run it by the brain trust.

I used a very thin flat washer and a nylok jam nut. Perfect height and no worries about it loosening. I also have some thin clear Teflon tubing that I cut, flattened, then made a washer to fit under the handle to help protect the paint from the handle when it turns. On to the next...
