Is there a L/R headlight or are they interchangeable?
I have one I an going to sell and wanted to describe it correctly.

Yes, there is a L & R Headlight assembly for 1941-46 COMM., UTIL.(exc. COE);

Group 2.725

L = p/n 925203

R = p/n 925204

Harold I emailed you some photos that might help
Looking at my spare set, I found this info. No part number was found.
The headlight buckets have a mounting bracket on the bottom forward end. The bracket is fastened higher, a little further aft on the outboard side corresponding to which fender it fits. Higher on right, the bucket fits the right fender, etc..
