To paint the underside of my 56 Chevy truck cab, I am tempted to roll the cab up on end, setting on the firewall. Can this be done without damage? Will the cab ballance in that position?
Thanks

If you're talking about an A.D. cab it will sit on the firewall or back without tipping. Here's a pic:

I've set my cab on the firewall with no problem also. If you're setting it on a dolly, I would secure it to the dolly with some straps or rope.
