I am working on replacing the steel brake lines on a 51 1/2 ton. I am not sure how the line for the front brakes was supposed to be routed as most of it was rusted off. I think the line for the left front wheel travels across the front cross member somehow. A couple of photos wound be great.

Thanks in advance

Thank you.

So the 51 brake lines routes the same as the 54's does. My brother took the Assembly Manual when he and his wife moved to another town.

Where can I get the fitting that is mounted on the master cylinder that splits the fluid flow? This truck didn't come with one. Like already taken.

So if you have a line going across the front cross member then you didn't have a splitter on the master cylinder. The line would go over to the passenger side frame, splits to front and back and then further up front it splits to the passenger side hose and around to the driver's side over the cross member.
