As Tim said, they were used on the '53-'54 Corvettes, but many more were sold as accessories by the dealers because they were a bolt-on for any 235 or 261. Dealer retail price back in the day? $15!!! I have read that the majority of the production was sold as dealer accessories. If we had to rely on ones that came with Corvettes, they would be even more rare. Notice how the manifold allows for the use of the heat exchanger with a stock intake manifold.
You would have hit the Power Ball if it was attached to three carb Corvette intake.

It could very well be "3836108." To wit, I will accept "3836108" as the correct interpretation of the casting number depicted in the image. Thanks for the proper reference.

| | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,805 Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) | | Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,805 | That manifold can be duplicated with a hacksaw, a hole saw, and a welder- - - - -There's even a seller on Ebay that has a kit for sale to add a second outlet and put a partition between the front and rear sections. The only advantage to having that one or one like it is the casting number. Even a home-brewed split manifold beats the Fenton dual setup without a heat riser.
