Please show me how you ran your gas pedal throttle cable set up. Am wanting to use it in my 58gmc 1/2ton truck with gmc302 engine with Clifford Intake& Headers 4barrel carb. Were you able to keep stock pedal or something close to it?
Any advice would help-

There's this but I was hoping for something closer to the original pedal look

Danny,
Take a look at the throttle linkage used for V-8's in TF trucks.
It uses the stock pedal and mounts on the firewall. You should be able to modify the throttle rod to actuate the 4 Bl. Various aftermarket suppliers have them for 6 to V-8 conversions, Truck Shop, Brothers, etc.

DT...if you can get an OEM throttle linkage for a V8 TF truck, there is no bracket around the carb. The rod that attaches to the carb goes directly back to the pivot arm. Unless I am wrong, the V8 setup is the same for a 2bbl and 4 bbl, so no modification is needed. Vendors do sell the V8 linkage setup, but an OEM is best because it is a certainty on bolting up. I don't have a pic of one installed or i'd be more than glad to send it to you.

There's a 59 GMC near me that I may be able to get a photo of it's throttle setup. It depends on if the old codger that has it will allow me access, he's hard to deal with.

Thanks , I ordered a v8 pedal bracket. Hopefully I can use it as a starting point.
