Does any one have the formula for GMC Narva green? I have found codes but no one here has the formula, and the codes do not show the formula.

The formula is not something you need because the formula is paint specific. If you are in front of a mixing bank of toners with instructions to make some Narva Green, you would need the formula, otherwise, it's useless to you or anyone else not standing in front of the toners. If you are asking the guy with the toners, he won't ask you for the formula...he will have it or he won't...either way, he won't ask you for it.

Take the code and shop it around, you will likely run into a challenge however. The codes were made for old technology paint systems no longer sold.

I was able to get Omaha Orange Code 5811 made up in UNO from BASF so you might try a BASF dealer but that's not a guarantee they'll have your color.

Do you have a piece of metal with this color on it that you could take to a store and have them custom match it with the new modern paints?

Do you want to go with BC/CC or single stage urethane? Aerosol or spray with a paint gun?

I hope I've helped you on your mission.

Here are the Codes and formulas for example.
Hugger Orange GM 65 and White GM 40.
These formulas are only good for LOW VOC UNO. So my point is, if you have GM65 and GM40 codes, you can get them made in other paint brands.

Hugger Orange GM65 and White GM40 in BASF UNO Low VOC

Hope this helps sort it out for you.

If you have the codes, I've had very good luck with my PPG distributor finding the formulas from the corporate headquarters. The names changed frequently, GMC and Chevy of the same years used the same colors with different names. GM also discontinued colors, only to bring them back in later years with new names.( Sport Beige of the mid 40's was reborn as Khaki in the late 50's exact formula)
I always use PPG Concept DCC single stage with a hardener, and the matches are great.
IMHO, most everyone can see the differences between single stage and clear coat, and antiques don't have clear coat.
