'47 GMC 1 ton w/ 302, NP-540, 4wd, full width Blazer front axle.
'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.

I was going to make my '57 a car hauler as well, but got talked out of it by the wife and father-in-law...now glad they won, it's a blast to drive. He flies a HUGE American flag on a tall pole mounted in the bed. I've ridden several missions with him leading the pack.

They were too far away and I don't trust the drive train that far.
But, events within ten miles I often do.
Picnics, fairs and other local charity events.
Most are not car shows.
They call and ask for me to bring it and put the ladder up with the flag on top.
I think almost everyone in our county has seen it and remember it.
