I can find some general documentation for US trucks with the different model numbers, but does anyone know where to find manuals for Canadian built GMC trucks, or specifically for the 9430? What kinds of manuals did they print for Canadian-built units? Thanks.

I have not seen a manual for the specific Canadian built trucks, not sure if they are available but everything I have needed to tear down/rebuild or replace is covered in the ones I have. | | | | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 Crusing in the Passing Lane | Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | Perhaps the Canadian ones are in some different language, eh?

One is for 1948 to 1951, one for 1947, one for 1946 47 and 48,and one for 1948 to 1950. As far as I know there are no reprints. I see them for sale every December at the swap meet in Mississauga. I would be happy to send copies of pages that might be helpful. Some of the instructions go beyond what is found in the US publications that are reproduced. There is information on the different series of trucks, the ratings and there is also information on both the Chevrolet and GMC engine series. | | | | Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 241 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 241 | I have a 52 9430 as well but have never found the Canadian manual. It would be nice to have one. The US Chevy version does cover most and so far I have been able to stumble thru...

Anybody seen one that covers the 52's? | | | | Joined: Aug 2015 Posts: 12 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Aug 2015 Posts: 12 | I have one for 52-53. The way it was explained to me the big 48-51 manual is one and then they put a supplement out for 52-53 because not enough changed to reprint the big full manual.
Now this is for Canadian GMC's.
I am at work right now and will take a couple pics when I get home if anyone is interested.
