I'm keeping this date open. | | | | Joined: May 2009 Posts: 85 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: May 2009 Posts: 85 | Good to hear, I was committed to a Pulling contest last year but the date looks open this year. Hope to be there.

We are holding an informal (no fees, no trophies) gathering on August 26th, at the Wisconsin Automotive Museum in Hartford, WI.
Here is a chance to meet face-to-face with other vintage Chevrolet and GMC truck owners around our Great Lakes region (or farther!) to make new friends, exchange information, and to check out vintage trucks!
You don’t have to have a show quality truck to enjoy the fun. We welcome GM trucks of all shapes and sizes (unrestored stock, restored, street rods, daily drivers, etc.).
Just bring your truck and join the fun! Is your project still not on the road? Bring it on a trailer if you like ... or just bring some pictures of your pride and joy.
Come and make some connections with other truck owners and pick up some tips and tricks!
A local drive in restaurant will be at the event supplying food and ice cream. A few local restoration shops will have something there to look at.
When you’re here, spend some time checking out the Wisconsin Automotive Museum, home of the Kissel Kar (built in Hartford from 1906 to 1931), and the Southeastern Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Fame (celebrating local stock car racing history). Discounted museum admission for Stovebolters!
The Hartford Auto Museum is a great venue. Also it is located in downtown Hartford which has great little shops and restaurants for the whole family to enjoy. Camping and Pike lake are also nearby.
We'll have t-shirts and decals for the event (for purchase).
Come on and join us - with or without a truck!
August 26th, 2017 (9 am to 3 pm) Wisconsin Automotive Museum Parking Lot -- Look for the Stovebolt flag 147 North Rural Street Hartford, WI
The more trucks we gather together the better. Bring your projects, we want to see them all.

Plans are made, flyers are available and we are ready. Release the trucks ! Remember - we are looking for ANY GM trucks running or not up to 1973. We had newer trucks last year and that is great but we want to see the trucks that are tucked away, being worked on or whatever. Load em up! Come and tell us about your project or share your ideas. | | | | Joined: Nov 1995 Posts: 5,470 Bond Villain | Bond Villain Joined: Nov 1995 Posts: 5,470 | I finally got the info loaded on the Stovebolt.com homepage. Did I get everything right? Let me know if I need to correct/update anything. If the flyer is available as a .pdf or jpg, would someone send it to me? editor@stovebolt.com
Thanks!

I think its a filter issue.....I'll be working hard to get it running again. Hope to see you all there.

Yesterday we held the second annual Stovebolt Gabfest, I would like to thank everyone who attended, and especially Wally Becker for all his work for making this event successful.I would also like to thank Dawn Mueller from the Wisconsin Automotive Museum and Mickey's Fresh Frozen Custard.
I hope everyone had a good time, and maybe made a few new friends.
In the next few days I will be posting photos of the event (my son-in-law took photos, so I need to get the files from him),
We would like to hear any comments, complaints, or ideas you may have.

We will be doing this next year. Randy gives credit to all the other people but it was his dream to put on this shindig on and we are all happy the make his dream come true. Thank you to all that made it possible and to the guys and gals bringing cars and trucks Yes I did say cars, there was a little misunderstanding but as it turned out, the cars that came all had Stovebolt sixes and were incredible. They are welcome again next year.

This was the first event like this for me and it really was a good time, had several good conversations. Stopped at an Irish Pub a few miles south of town and stayed a little too long, so I got to test out my new alternator and all the new bulbs, all the way home. Looking forward to next year.
