What is the color of the metal trim around the door panel on my 1950 1/2T pick up? | | | | | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 1,901 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 1,901 | If you post a link to a photo maybe someone could wager a guess. But we need to see it before guessing.
Or did you mean something else?
Give me ambiguity or give me something else

Maybe I am misunderstanding the question. But are you asking, if you purchase the metal trim around the door panel, what color is it? If that is what you mean, I believe that they are a shiny stainless finish. Anyway, that is the only color I have ever seen.
Good luck with your project.

I scuffed, primed with self etching, then primed and wet sanded. Bought some paints at a hobby shop to mix the color. Sprayed with an airbrush.

There was original paint on the back side that was in pretty good shape that I had color matched by the PPG dealer.I had a pint mixed up and it was more than enough.
