All, with limited options for lowering the 3600 rear I came across the LMC 3 inch lowering springs. Has anyone used these? Thoughts

You can get those springs directly from Eaton/Detroit Spring... in stock height, 1,2, or 3 inch drop. I took my 3600 rear springs to the spring blacksmith recently and he set them up at 2.5" . I think it cost me $240 and they were completely disassembled and inspected during the process.

On a side note, If you are going to use a different rear axle, I am getting ready to measure my new axle setup for frame/driveshaft clearance, and there might be an issue with the center crossmember interfering with a one-piece driveshaft.... I might end up having to go with a custom two piece $$$ . Driveshaft guy says I need a 3.5" diameter shaft, as it's going to be about 60 inches long. At full bump stop I don't think a 3.5" one piece shaft is going to clear the crossmember. That would be a bummer.

I'll post my results here on the Hipo Shop forum.

Great advise and yes please post up your results. What did you do up front. I stayed old school and had SID do a drop axel for me. Love the results just gotta decrease my rake a little ( a lot) in the rear.

Gonna source thise springs and talk to some local guys. Thanks a ton or in this case a 3/4 ton.

For the front I had Sid do a 2.5"drop... My truck is still in pieces, so I don't know how it's going to look. Good luck with your 3600!

You can always take out all but 3 or 4 of the rear springs. Gets you there on the cheap. You lose alot of load capacity though.

I've been looking at doing a complete leaf swap with either a Colorado spring pack or Ranger spring pack. Of course, I would need to buy new mounts and shackles too.

Just a followup on my driveshaft- I installed a one piece 3.5 diameter driveshaft, but removed the triangular driveshaft bearing holder mounting plate from my center crossmember. This gave me all the driveshaft clearance I need.
