| | | | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 1,901 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 1,901 | I was looking for some parking brake hardware for my 58 GMC and was finally able to find a 60's era chevy rearend on a wrecking yards rack just 60 miles away. Imagine. But after sitting outside on the banks of the Columbia river for who knows how long they were rusty. So I hooked up two wall warts to my electrolysis bucket and cooked em for two days. The photo shows the shoes and stuff I didn't use, the parts as they came out of the tank, what the wire brush did to half of one bar and a piece after a quick run over the wire wheel to clean it up.
