What is the name and code for the gray (with slight hint of blue) for the standard interior of a 1957 GMC truck?

Tim,

Thank you for the color chart, but I am looking for GMC colors. Mine is a 57 one ton (253) and the body is Aqua Blue and the trim is Dover White. This was a popular color scheme. What I am looking for is the name/code for the greyish blue for the interior. The deluxe cabs seem to be painted the exterior color but I am guessing that the standard cab had the grey color. I sense that I am plowing tilled ground: others must have been though this process.

Up here we call a "fetcher" a "gopher" as in "go for" something you are told to get. The gopher is not to be confused with a woodchuck. A "woodchuck" is the guy who lives farther down the dirt road than you do. With that out of the way, I have read about the Marble Gray but it is usually in the context of a discussion of Chevy. I thought that Chevys used a light gray that Jimmy Carter sells. I thought that GMC used a darker gray. Mine is a bluish gray. I did a fruitless search for a paint chip for the Marble Gray to see the color. Is it true that there is no offset PPG # for the color?

I'm no expert, but back about two years ago I was hot on the trail for interior paint for my 58 Chevy 1/2 ton. The conclusion I reached, which is open for correction by those who are the experts, was that interior colors did not appear on the color charts for these trucks. I ended up getting the Jim Carter paint, but I don't think it was the actual color of my Granddad's 58. To my feeble memory, that paint was gray but it had a slight metallic sheen to it. Since I wasn't going for 100% "factory" correct anyway, I went with the Jim Carter and am happy with it.
