I just purchased a 1960 235 with a chrome valve cover and I would like to exchange it for one that is stock. Are all 235 covers interchangeable? Steve

1954-62 all fit, although their are different styles.
The top three in this picture are all the four bolt style.

Bad link, Dave

Here are various 216/235 valve covers from your excellent Puget Sound "lecture".

That is probably what you are referring to - the 3 on the right?

Yes, they will all fit any/all 1954 and later 235 and 261 heads (that all used a 4-screw valve cover).

Any will fit your 1960 235 (car or truck engine).
