I have the cab off my 66 and I'm ready to start fixing my body cancer. I have purchased replacement rockers, inner rockers, and floor supports and floor. Does anyone have detailed pictures of the lower front and rear hinge pillar area behind the rocker? I have the factory assembly manual but it doesnt show those areas very clear. Also, does anyone have any good ideas on how to fix those areas since you can't get patch panels for 60 - 66 hinge pillars. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 | That is a pretty difficult project. You may want to consider finding a donor cab to get these parts from, or just find a better cab.

I cut off the vast majority of them but it was easier than fabbing from scratch,,brian | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6 | Brian,,can you give me a more detailed description of how you used the 67 hinge panels? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 2,384 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 2,384 | I wish I had taken pics, but the 67-72 hinge pillar is similar, except the fender attachment is one piece w/the pillar, this was cut off(I kept the separate bolt-on fender attachment)had to redrill holes for said fender bracket. here is a poor pic, if yo look hard you can see pillar patch just above rocker mounting, brian only pic I have | | |
