Having problem installing trim outside of windshield, new glass and weather strip, weather strip has grove to accept trim(delux model),trim is in good shape with small turn-in at bottom of blade that goes into rubber. Local expert said "have to remove windshield to install s.s trim" 2nd expert says"maybe you can work it in using MO-Jo (hand cleaner)and plastic knife as tool". Any input would be appreciated.Thanks,Ron. P.S-glass has been installed about 7 months.

Where can you get the S.S. trim for the rubber on a deluxe '54? I need all of it if I go that route.

The trim or the rubber?

Trim - eBay
Rubber - Steele

Make sure the trim has the 4 little connectors before you buy.
