I dropped my 66 half ton off to be painted yesterday. They could not find a paint code anywhere on the truck. Does anyone know the code for the red/orange color that oxidizes to an orange rust color after about 20 years.? Very common but i don't know what it is called or the code number.

Makes me a little uncomfortable too. Seems like it is hard to find people committed to doing good work these days. Thanks for the paint code !!! I will pass that along.

Thanks for the suggestion Oldno. I went to the body shop last night and picked out a chip. I hope it is close to being right. Could you post a pic of yours ? Would love to see how it turned out.
