Does anyone know the correct size redi sleeve or speedie sleeve fit my truck? I have the original 49 rear housing but have changed the pumpkin to a later model 1960's 8.2". I need the pinion shaft sleeve. I think the pinion size is 1.438". As always thank you very much.

Have you asked your parts counter person?

No, but I solved my own problem. The leak was coming from the yoke. I priced some yokes and they were pretty high. Went to a local scrap yard and got a "new" one for 45 dollars. Yes, I said new. They had a new one one the shelf and at a great price. Just pays to look around sometimes.
