I would like to get two saddle tanks in front of rear wheels and not nessesarily at the spare tire spot tank . My cab tank is working but as you know the leg room is limited ( and Im 5'9 ) .
Doesn anyone know where I can get those ?

Teddy,
If you are only doing this for leg room I don't think you will get what you want. Fully back, your seat back should be just about touching the back of the cab. Removing the tank is not going to allow the seat to go back any farther. I am 6'2" and know how you feel.
What it will do is give you extra space in the cab behind the seat.
I know what you are thinking about saddle tanks and I gave it some thought myself but I never found anything so you may have to opt for designing it yourself.
Not sure about your truck, but I have a 64 short bed fleetside so I put my tank in the spare tire spot and will put my spare in the front of the bed behind the driver (there is a bracket that will hold it there).
It is not an easy job but rewarding when done. Good luck in your efforts.

What Rusty64 says is true. I have my 1965 seat all the way back to where it touches the back of the cab. Removing the tank would not change a thing. I've never sat in another 60-66 with different seats but I would guess that a different seat design might give you more leg room (thinner seat back perhaps).
I did shorten my steering column for better driving comfort. I prefer having the steering wheel closer to the dash.
I suggest you find someone with a comfortable 60-66 and sit in it to be sure. Then copy theirs.

I put a steel 50 gallon saddle tank off of a semi in the back of my bed. It was bigger but we cut it to fit. I didn't do it for leg room. I did it because I get 10 miles to the gallon, and I could never get the smell of gas out of my cab. I tried everything to seal that rubber connector, well except for something that worked.... smile

These old trucks don't have a lot of room in 'em, but here is a long list of different seats people have swapped into them :

The "official" seat swap thread

I'm 6'2" and roll the seat all the way back, but the steering wheel is almost in my lap it seems. grin
