| | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 | how do you remove the radiator core support bolts on a 65 chevy pickup? the old ones rusted to the body mount washers so i couldn't lift it off the frame so i had to cut and grind the smack with a hammer so i could get em off so i need to get the old ones out to put new ones in was gona take em out anyways to put in longer ones for the body lift that i'm going to be putting in

Nate | | | | | Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 199 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 199 | I think those have a "butterfly" lock washer bent up around them and you will need to take a pry bar and bend the locks back off the nuts so you can turn them out.
If you will look at ebay item number 8039092312 it will give you an idea of what I am talking about.
