Is there a difference between the '51 thru '53 doors that you can visually see? I have a 1950 model, with drivers side cowl vent, which has doors with vent windows. Possibly the doors are from a later year (the door handles are push-button handle too) Did they put on vent windows in the later part of the 1950 model run? Just need some info for when replacing vent/door glass.
Again, thanks for your help! | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 4,168 "Hey! I sound like Darth Vader!! | "Hey! I sound like Darth Vader!! Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 4,168 | Hmm, I have a '52 Suburban. Vent windows, turn down handles. Built November of 1951. Titled as a 1952.
I'd say your doors were later year. | | | | Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 1,571 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 1,571 | '51 has vent windows and turn-down door handles. '52-'55 have vent windows and push-button handles, they didn't change them again. | | |
