Hello All,
I was wondering if you guys can help me identify exactly what combination of floor coverings go in an original interior. The truck is a 54 3100 and I'm not sure what combination of jute padding and floor mat or carpet covers the floor and firewall, none was in my truck when I bought it.
Thanks,

Nico

1954

firewall: rigid leather-look mat with jute padding on firewall side.
floor: side-to-side rubber floor mat on top of jute/other sound deadener.

There were accessory color-coordinated floor mats (2 - either black or matching optional 2-tone interiors)

Thanks Tim!
Quick follow-up regarding seat upholstery color, the "comfortmaster cab" description says the seat and backrest are upholstered in brown, was black an option?

I do not think that black was on option on regular cab 1954 trucks (maybe it was) - it might have been standard on COE?

If you do use black - make all pieces black, I think.

weird, pretty sure the seat upholstery was original on my truck and it was black. Anyway, thanks for all of your help!

Well Tim, your post and those links just answered a question I'd been meaning to ask.

Looks like there was no floor shifter boot originally. So now the question is why would I want or need to install the one I purchased or the nice pretty chrome ring ands screws to bolt it down with?

Oh, and wouldn't you just love to find a set of those accessory floor mats! I have not seen those reproduced either.

Dusty,

Are these the floor mats you are referring to? (out of stock)

I'll look for another vendor. I bought some (a few years ago - black set and red/maroon set).

Here they are - Dan's Classic Auto Parts
