Well, after riding around with these horrid plastic racing bucket seats since September I finally found a guy on my local craigslist has a set of '00 Monte Carlo SS bucket seats with PADDING!! After some research, it appears that these seats will fit with a little work. My question is what can I do to wire up the heated seat part, sounds like an option I want! opinions?

The Sprint will be rewired down the road, just want to see what I can do for now if anything.

I would start with trying to find a wiring diagram for the Monte Carlo, or maybe there are specific ones for the seats. For the heater, you will probably need a switch and relay, unless the controls are on the seat itself. I have 2006 Audi seats in my truck. I found the 12V and ground connections on the seat wiring harness and connected them to the truck system. All position controls work because they are integral to the seat. I did't bother with the heater function because I would never use it anyway.

Be sure to wire some sort of timer into the heater circuit. It would be a shame to watch your ride burn down over a forgotten switch. Anything that gets warm with electricity can also get HOT!

Surprisingly the seats have fit fairly well. I just have to for a little repairing of former owner's attempts at bucket seat installation, some retrofitting to the Monte Carlo seat mounts, and a little wiring and we're set!
