I'm sure someone has done it I'm just not finding any info. I have both trucks, just want the drivability of my 02 under the old cab. I have not looked into this so, I am not much help! I believe the modern trucks have a wider frame than the older ones so, you will have to contend with that, steering column will probably need to be moved as it may be too far off-center for the older cab. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2015 Posts: 113 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2015 Posts: 113 | welcome. i have not done what you are planning but i did see an example of a combination 59 Apache front clip with a modern extended cab. looks like the bed is from the apache as well. if you go to the address i pasted below it should come up just scroll down a bit and you will see a light blue/teal truck. not the same as your 1950 but it may give you some inspiration.
