Installed new clutch return spring, adjusted the clutch so that I have 3/4 -1" play at the top of the pedal. When I release the clutch I can hear the release bearing engage with the clutch. I can even feel a slight movement of the truck when I release the clutch even in neutral. Adjustment too tight? Returns spring not tight enough? Any ideas?

Define "release". Do you mean taking your foot off the clutch pedal and letting the transmission gears spin? If so that's "engaging" the clutch, not releasing it. It sounds like you've got bearing problems inside the transmission, since the throwout bearing won't be turning when there's free pedal at the top of the travel.

Jerry,

Correct. When I let my foot off the clutch pedal I am not getting any grinding noise or whirring noise, just a slight rubbing noise and the truck seems to move just a small bit. Didn't have this before I put new clutch pedal spring on and re-adjusted the clutch free play.

You need to adjust it to less freeplay. You are not getting enough travel to completely release the clutch. As long as you have a little freeplay so the TO brg will not ride the fingers it will be OK. If your link is riding on the outer groove in the fork, you could move it to the inner groove to gain more travel.
