Hello Gentleman,
I am looking to replace my rear 1954 Chevy 3100 fiberglass fenders with metal reproduction fenders. There are multiple vendors selling these fenders.
One vendor states that the fenders they sell are 1006 steel, claiming to be sightly heavier but three times as strong.
Are there differences in quality metal reproduction fenders on the market? I don't want to just buy the least expensive fender if the fender could be inferior in quality/gauge thickness.
