Hi,
I am looking for feedback on rim paint, for steel Wheel Vintiques Smoothie rims that I purchased. and which is best. Enamel, laqure or acrylic? Matte or Gloss, is Clear Coat a good option too?

I would go with a urethane. Lacquer is too brittle in my opinion and sould chip too easily. Depending on the color, you don't really need a clearcoat (unless you are using a metallic or basecoat/clearcoat paint). I used an Industrial urethane on mine, very tough, and normal vehicle chemicals won't harm it (brake fluid, battery acid, etc...).
