I wasn't sure where to post this topic and couldn't find my answers through Google, shop manual or search. Does anybody have a diagram of the complete vacuum setup for 47-54 wipers? Also does anybody know what size the hose is that goes from the motor to the manifold?

It uses 1/4 in. vacuum hose. It goes from the outlet on the intake manifold through the firewall to the wiper motor.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

Maybe this will help, from the Factory Assembly Manual. I know there's a link to the whole manual on here somewhere, but I can't remember where it's at. If you don't have one of them, they're absolutely worth the investment. On the other hand, it's on this site somewhere. Maybe someone will chime in and remind me where to find it.
