What carbs are used on a dual set up? I currently have Rochester b.
I would like to purchase zenith or carters. Which zeniths to use? Or carters? I know it's preference but what models to use? Thank you in advance. I have offenhauser intake on a 235 stock engine with Fenton headers.

This comes up about once a week. There has been plenty of discussion about it. Did you try a search?

Maybe Carters from Chevrolet 216s or Zeniths from GMC 228s.

There might be variable main jets available for the Zeniths.

Carter W-1's #483 and #574. See bottom of page, http://www.thecarburetorshop.com/CarterChevroletW1.htm

They are not cheap, the kits are not cheap, but they work very well, are adjustable, and look right.

Thank you so much. At this point I'm trying and trying with the Rochesters I have but they are to far gone. I really appreciate the info.

They must match, exactly, right down to the smallest detail.

You will find rebuilders who sell carburetors as remanufactured, stay away from these. They take carburetors from the same group and throw all the parts in one pile, they use that pile to make similar type carburetors. They will look alike, but the internals could be anything. There were a lot of carburetors made with different metering and sizes of openings and port. That was for a reason and for specific engines. Once you start mixing parts, all bets are off on whether it will run right or not.

Your best bet is to by cores and rebuild them yourself.

There are 2 Offenhauser dual-1 bbl. intakes.
The smaller one (#1034 for the 216 and oldest 235) is 2-11/16" between bolt centers.
The larger one (#1035 for the late 235 and 261) may be marked "PG", as in "for the Powerglide engine" is 2-15/16" between bolt centers.
Relocating the bolt pattern is annoying, easier to use the smaller manifold with 216-size carburetors.
