We have a '66 C20 in the shop for major suspension overhaul issues, and one of the items replaced was the center link, as it appeared to be bent in the middle in a shallow "U" shape. The replacement (used, unsure of were it was sourced from) is straight. The issue we have is that the new one comes within 1/64" from the oil pan. We are suspecting motor mounts allowing the engine (292) to sag, but would like confirmation as to if the drag link is supposed to be straight on inline 6 trucks. I'm only peripherally involved in this particular job, but told the mechanic working on it I would check to be sure. Thanks in advance for any info.
