my experience w/ all the 'dog legged' years is "real close" is pretty darn good! the poor folks on the assembly line had the same problem, and they could set a poorly fitting door aside and try another, and another, and another ....
when you put replacement doors on it's a struggle to get'em close, to the point where tweaking the cab opening w/ a porta-power is sometimes necessary to get rid of one spot binding, but if you can get the gap pretty even alla way around, and the feature lines match up real close, it may be as good as it gets
