I have parted many 41-46 chevy trucks and know cabs are the same size for these years no matter how big the truck is..Can anyone tell me if this is the case for 47-54 trucks?

Hy snotnose, as far as I know year for year the cabs are all same, the early cabs have a different mount system at the rear of the cab than the later ones, hope that helps.

"Are 1.5 ton 47-54 cabs same size as a pickup?"

Yes (as posted above by 3B) - for 1 ton through 2 ton Chev pickups.

3B points out one important difference between 47-55st Chevrolet truck cabs (mounts to the frame). There are also other slight differences in cabs between 47-55st trucks (but no "size" differences).
