Have a 53 AD with 2 piece glass in the door, is there a way to change this to a one piece window short of changing the whole door to an older one? I know there are conversions for late model vehicles but I have seen none for my truck.

Any insights appreciated, thanks

There is.
Its not easy its not satisfying once it's done and you should search all the forums you can find to get a better picture of what your asking before going any further.

Easiest fix is buying '47-'50 doors and strikers.

I was afraid that buying the older doors was the answer.

Thanks for the input.

You should be able to find good earlier doors, and sell your doors for good money.
There seems to be an even split between those who prefer vented and non-vented doors.
I have never had a vehicle with vent windows which didn't whistle in the winter time.

52Carl... you leave em open to clear the windows and they won't whistle silly..
