I want to put a 37 or 38 front fenders grill and hood on my 39. Just wondering if anyone has done this before. I'm pretty sure it's not going to bolt right on but also it's probably not impossible to make it work. I think the hood will be the biggest challenge and the area where the running boards bolt to the front fenders.

No. Cab is different, two piece windshield, different doors, slight difference in shape, fender shape is different, fenders will not mount to running boards.
Now, depending on how much work you are willing to do, you could probably make it fit. It might fit the frame since the same frame was used up through 54. Bolting it to the frame might be similar, but just to set on a 37 frame with a cab and front end and hope to bolt it up totally and to the cab too - no.
