blumarln Wrench Fetcher B Joined: May 2015 Posts: 47 Florida	Hi everyone, Getting into the assembly stages after paint and was curious about front fender welting. I've seen both the welting and "anti-squeak" type gaskets offered for sale, my question is which one is correct and/or necessary. I look forward to all opinions. Thanks!! Nico

Fender welt goes between fender and cab-side. https://www.chevsofthe40s.com/detail/6530/Chevrolet_Fender_Welt_14_X_1316.html The "anti-squeak" might go between inner fender and outer fender? https://www.chevsofthe40s.com/detail/6533/Chevrolet_Fender_Gasket_Set_Inner_Panel_Front_Fender.html They are both standard/necessary parts. Tim 1954Advance-Design.com 1954 3106 Carryall Suburban 1954 3104 5-window pickup w/Hydra-Matic The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
