It shields the radiator from debris. I found the splash gaurd which goes from the bumper to the body. The one I'm looking for goes under the body up to the radiator housing. 2 of the stabilizer bars for the radiator are bolted onto it as well. This thing is in pretty bad shape and should probably just be replaced. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 452 Member | | Member Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 452 | Do you mean the lower radiator grille baffle? That's what Chevy called it in the parts manual. See this picture (the lower piece labeled 1.286 baffle). I haven't seen this piece reproduced. You'll have to find a used one. I see them on eBay occasionally.
