Got a 59 Chevy truck, originally 3sp column changed to 4sp floor shift granny 1st.... Ordered 10" replacement clutch from Napa #1104003....new disk is different than original, 5 springs instead of 6 although pis on their site shows 6, throw out bearing appears identical also original disk casting for the spline is dramatically offset on the side opposite the carrier hub for the springs.not on the new disk.. Are these deal breakers for install? I'm stumbling through this so any help would be greatly appreciated

Hy Mazie 59, if the parts were listed as fitting your application then they should work. The only way to truly tell would be to install the kit and check the function. I know its a lot of work but other than comparing the discs for drastic differences in dimensions of the hub projections, installation and function checking are the only true test, hope that helps.

Txs for the input... One more question pls... The disk is not marked, does the offset in the hub face the flywheel? It appears from the cross section diagram that it faces away from the flywheel

If you put the disc in backwards the disk will hit the bolts on the flywheel. Just put it up to the flywheel and you should be able to tell if it is hitting, if so just turn it around.
