I'm trying to thin my parts stash. It's not huge but it's too big to be practical. I need to get rid of everything I can be reasonably sure I won't use.

I was thinking I ran across a web page or tech tip somewhere that detailed with pictures, the different tin parts and what their applications are. Inspection covers, valve covers, side covers, fans, etc.

I'm going to start with fans and see if you guys can help.

I have five fans right now that I need to ID.

I'll put in a link to a photobucket album.

To start, fan 'A' is the stock fan from my 55.1 3600 235.
Fan 'B' fits, and I suspect it is probably from a similar vintage big truck. The next three have the smaller 5/8" hubs, which I have to assume are 55.2 and later, but all three are different.

I got the 6 blade fan hoping to use it on a 56 261 I am planning on using in the 55.1, but now I'm thinking I can't really do that because I'll have to use the short shaft pump adapter to fit it in my 55.1 truck. So is fan 'B' my best bet for getting some more air through the radiator?

In any case, any help in ID'ing the fans would be of help. I am planning on keeping the stock 235 for the truck just in case I ever decide I really want it to be a bone stocker that could compete in a VCCA show or something.

Here's the album:

Thanks for any help with this!

Thanks! I'm familiar with that doc... I could have sworn I'd seen one somewhere that detailed the other tin as well, but maybe not.
