I want to replace my current small/wide tires and wheels for something more original looking. I also want to be able to put hubcaps on it like a '65 would have. I don't care for the current somewhat lowered look, and it looks funny to me that the tires don't fill up the wheel wells as much as regular sized tires and wheels would. It does have 5 lug hubs. So my question is, what am I looking for? I can probably find them super cheap at the junk yard or for sale locally.
Thanks!

A 65 would have 6 lug wheels so someone has changed the hubs but from what? If it has a 4 3/4" bolt pattern they are from a car.
If it has a 5" bolt pattern they could be from a 73-87 C10 truck.
In which case those wheels would have the correct hub cap "nubs" to use the 65 caps.

Fred,

The more I learn about this truck I find the replaced parts are from a 73-87 C10. Thanks for the info. Our local junk yard has 14 73-87's, so I'm sure I can find them fairly easily.

Thanks again!
Adam
